We do not produce a score or an approval of our own. Two lines below reproduce a score the platform itself publishes: the shell-company likelihood and the innovation segment. Both are passed through as the platform’s own output, labelled as theirs, with the scoring logic named as provider-defined. Neither becomes a finding of ours, and neither is required to complete a pack.

Where the data comes from, and what it can’t tell you.
Self-service reports use one licensed Chinese business-information platform. It republishes records from these official systems:
- National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System (国家企业信用信息公示系统)
- China Judgements Online (中国裁判文书网)
- China Enforcement Information Disclosure Network (中国执行信息公开网)
Each delivered line names its source and query date. Coverage gaps, access delays and source errors can affect a result. An official record may exist even when the platform returns nothing. An empty result cannot establish supplier safety.
Most lines are retrieved and assembled after payment confirmation. Ownership-graph and actual-controller lines may need manual handling. Your order confirmation states the window; if manual review is needed, we notify you and continue within that window.
Registry records cannot prove product quality, factory capacity or where your order will be produced. A scoped L3 human check adds a person reading the official portals. L4 is a separately quoted site visit. Their schedules are listed under human verification.

A report is only worth what its sources are worth. These are the measurements behind the standing claims in it; individual company facts in any delivered report carry their own source and query date, line by line.
Which report lines usually come back with something, and which come back empty
A menu of check lines raises a fair question: how often does each line actually return content? We measured it on 21–22 August 2026 across 45 Chinese manufacturers: every company on the NHTSA vehicle-manufacturer list resolving to exactly one Chinese entity.

An empty result needs context. None of these 45 companies returned an operating-anomaly or serious-violation entry in this query. That does not rule out an unrecorded issue. These checks form part of a pack; individual checks are not sold on their own.
Identity and filing lines returned content for nearly all companies in this group. Tender, investment and branch records were less common. A successful query with no matching record differs from an unavailable source; a line whose agreed source is unavailable is cancelled and refunded.
Measured on one group of manufacturers; it does not predict your specific supplier. The same 45 companies appear throughout this site — one batch that I keep asking different questions; the batch is described in the NHTSA manufacturer study.
