Use this desk to identify the company behind a storefront or check a specific record before payment. Each check addresses a defined question. Prepare a company check with the Chinese legal name or licence code.
What the desk does
I am Bao L. Zhou, also known as Derrick Zhou. I run the desk from China and carry out approved human checks. Self-service reports follow the automated record-retrieval and review process described in the source table.
The buyer guides explain how to check legal identity, factory claims, certificates and payment details. These are separate questions; one record cannot settle them all.
How evidence is handled
We match records to the Chinese legal name or Unified Social Credit Code. Each check separates source facts from interpretation. A failed lookup or an unclear match stays unresolved.

What our source-access tests found
We tested the same eight official source hosts from one mainland-China connection on 8 and 22 August 2026. These were front-page access tests, not company lookups. The planned overseas comparison was voided.

Seven of eight hosts returned the same status code in both rounds. This shows what happened on that connection on those dates. It does not establish whether a buyer can use a source today.
The court enforcement host changed its response within two weeks. Access conditions can change, so a failed request needs a date and context.
See the two-week retest for the method and controls. The overseas round failed its control check; it provides no evidence about the target hosts.
What the desk cannot prove
We do not claim that a registry match makes a supplier safe. A public record does not prove current factory control, product conformity, quality, delivery, payment safety or a risk-free transaction. A checklist is not an audit, legal opinion, certification or buyer release.
Use appropriate legal, compliance, testing, inspection, banking and commercial professionals when the order or risk requires them.

The build checks that evidence markers have query dates. It does not verify that each underlying fact is true.
This is a mechanical inventory, not a quality score. Several pages use the same dataset for different questions. Reuse does not turn one sample into several independent studies.
Research records hosted elsewhere
Study pages link to deposits on Zenodo and Harvard Dataverse. You can inspect the files, methods, dates and versions through those links, or find records via DataCite Commons.
Deposits make our material available for scrutiny. They do not prove its accuracy, a customer outcome or an endorsement by the host.
Repository records can change. Zenodo allows metadata edits and some deletions; Dataverse supports versions and withdrawals. Read the record history when citing a file. These policies were checked on 6 September 2026.
Contact and corrections
Email hello@currawongweb.com for a scoped question, a correction or a privacy request, or message the desk on WhatsApp. Include the relevant page URL and the evidence that needs review; do not send passwords, payment credentials or unrelated personal data.
Has someone checked your company? We do not notify suppliers of orders or disclose who ordered a check. To report an error, email your 18-character code, the disputed line and the source showing the correct value.
A person rechecks the source. If we made an error, we correct it and tell the buyer who received it. We do not remove an accurate record because it is unwelcome. A report is never an endorsement.
I built this desk to help buyers and suppliers work from a clearer record. You can inspect the monthly operations log, including its stated gaps, before deciding whether to order.

Site operator (Impressum) and how to reach a person
This site is operated by one person, working from China: Bao L. Zhou, also known as Derrick Zhou. There is no team behind the name and no call centre. There are no agents, offices or authorised representatives.
What protects you if I am unavailable: for self-service reports, your order confirmation states the delivery window, which will not exceed 72 hours after payment confirmation. If we miss the agreed delivery window, you may cancel the affected lines and receive a full refund of those lines. A scoped human check allows 3 business days.
Your payment provider’s dispute process is separate and follows its own eligibility rules and deadlines. Using it does not remove your rights under our refund terms. Read the service terms and save your report before its online viewing period ends.

Paste the code into the free structure check to check its format and checksum. It does not prove the company exists or is active. Then follow the registry check guide to compare the current official record.
Checking a supplier’s licence? Start with the code structure, then compare the registered business scope and company status. The free paste screen helps you read scope wording. A licence photo is a dated document, not a live status check.
A clear scan or seal does not establish authenticity. Compare the licence with a record you retrieve from the official source. A matching company record still does not prove that the person contacting you represents that company.
