Buying deskStructured brief
Request a business quote, reviewed by a person.
From this page on, we are a seller. The verification service takes no part in this desk, and we will never verify a supplier for you and then offer to replace them with ourselves. Here is what happens after you submit. A person reads the brief and checks the product and destination against what we can accept. The reply comes by email: a private quote, a question, or an honest decline. Nothing is automatic and nothing is charged here. To preview the full record an order creates, see the specimen order file first. Looking for a China buying agent or sourcing agent instead? Read how an agent differs from a seller of record. We are the latter, and the difference decides who is responsible for fixing things when something goes wrong.
Before you worry about the money: a brief costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If a quote follows and you accept it, nothing is purchased until your payment is verified. Until then you can cancel at no cost. Cancelling after purchase recovers what it can and refunds the balance with an account of what was spent. The trade terms carry the full version.
BUYING DESK / REQUEST
One brief, four answers we owe you.
Who are we in this deal? The seller for accepted orders, the counterparty, with the conflict that implies, stated plainly on the desk page. When do you get a price? After a person completes the review. No response-time baseline is published yet. Who do you pay, and when do we buy? You pay the Currawong contracting entity named on the quote itself. We purchase only after your payment has been verified and a person has released the order. What if it goes wrong? The trade terms and claims process govern — evidence-based, in writing.
We cannot serve every product or destination, and a submitted brief does not prove we can serve yours, the review exists precisely because no page can promise that. Restricted goods are listed on the eligibility page; briefs that hit them are declined, not negotiated.
Received — now in the manual review queue.
Your brief reference: . Keep it for correspondence.
A person will reply to your work email with one of three things. You get a private quote with its expiry, a question about the specification, or an honest “this is not something we can serve”. No payment exists at this stage: any message asking you to pay before you hold a written quote naming our registered entity is not from us.
